Endo ERN General Assembly and EuRRECa Registries Symposium

At the recent major meetings in Milan in May 2024, the EuRRECa registry symposium and the ENDO-ERN General Assembly, we presented the results of the latest EMENA survey.

This survey focused on the unmet needs of MEN patients and their families in Germany. One important result concerns the registers: many patients would be willing to make their data available for research purposes. However, not all patients are fully informed about this possibility. Therefore, it is essential to address these patients’ wishes and create opportunities to publicise the registries. Other patient requests relate to the development of improved methods for predicting tumour growth, with the development of biomarkers, particularly for pNETs, have highest priority.
